Honours Students

Students interested in applying as an honours student in the DCD Lab under the supervision of Dr. Madigan, are encouraged to contact her and to review the honours program requirements on the Department of Psychology website. Interested students should be highly self-motivated, possess strong critical thinking and communication skills, be keenly interested in child development research, and enjoy participating in a team-oriented research laboratory environment.
Graduate Students
Dr. Madigan is not accepting any new clinical psychology graduate applications.
Students interested in applying to the M.Sc. or Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology at the University of Calgary are encouraged to contact Dr. Sheri Madigan and to review the graduate program requirements on the Department of Psychology website. It is advised that prospective students review some of Dr. Madigan's recent published research studies to ensure that their research interests align with her research expertise. The DCD Lab is particularly interested in students who are highly self-motivated, have a strong background in statistical research methods, possess excellent critical thinking and communication skills, and who have a strong desire to undertake both academic research and clinical training in child psychology. Students should be keenly interested in the field of child development research and enjoy participating in a team-oriented research laboratory environment. In addition to demonstrating potential to become promising scholars, students must also enjoy working with children and families, be dedicated to contributing to the promotion of healthy child development, and be a collegial colleague to support the research endeavours at the DCD Lab.
